What’s up guys? 😀
Today I have another Location Report here for you. This time we will go even more off-road than we did last time with Koh Yao Noi.
This island doesn’t even have a 7/11. That’s nuts!
I spent two days here after I had been at Koh Yao Noi. Considering how small and undeveloped this island is. I feel two days was more than enough to get a final feel for this island.
The two days I was here, I rented a motorbike at the pier for both days. This cost me 250 baht. Really cheap! I spent both days just driving around the island to explore. If you read my blog regularly you already know how much I love motorbikes.

Regular girls (Non hookers)
Just like Koh Yai Noi. Not much is happening here. People literally live in huts and the few girls that I met out here was wearing hijab and burka. Yaak!
If you want to have a girl with you to this island you have to find her in Phuket or Krabi.
I did in fact meet ONE cute girl out here in her early twenties. I was driving my motorbike and suddenly I saw a cute girl who was sitting next to a house. I’m a simple man. I see cute girl, I stop to talk.
We talked for maybe 20 minutes. I asked her if she wanted to show me something on the island. When she asked what, I said like a beach, or some nice place or really anything… 😛
She was kind of skeptical and eventually said no. She sat with her mother, so I think maybe that could be some of the reason. I have no idea…
Everyone that lives out here are muslims and every girl I met out here had burkas or hijab. You won’t find any hookers on this island. Not even a massage shop.. 🙁
Nothing. When I say nothing, I mean it. Not a single bar on this island. If you want to drink here you will have to drink in the restaurant on the few resorts that you will find out here or swim to Phuket.
Stuff to do (2/5)
On the south-end on the island there is a diving center. It seems like all tourists that come to this island are here because of this center. I don’t know it it’s true,
but apparently one of Thailand best diving spots are just outside the south-tip of the island. Maybe you can comment in the comment section if you have any inside information on that?
The diving center name is Elixir Diving. You can find it here on Google maps.
Other than that there is really nothing on the island. The island is very beautiful, raw and rural. So if you want to experience rural Thailand without traveling too far from Phuket this is a good place to get just that.
I had fun the two days I was here, and I always love to explore new places. Even tho it’s not exactly a Goodbye Boring Life destination.
Spending a couple of days here was totally fine with me, but I don’t think I would plan my three-week holiday here.. 😛
Cost of living (4/5)
I can’t imagine this place being an expensive place. The food I ate out here was just local Thai food and it was dirt cheap. The hotels out here are not that cheap considering the location, but I guess it’s for scuba diving enthusiasts so they get away with it.
A dish of food out here was like 30-40 baht for some meat, vegetables and rice. Tasty and healthy. I also ate a lot of fresh seafood out here. Delicious as fuck! 😀
Nothing to comment really.
They did have speakers all over the island that was blasting Allah prayers and shit like that. So you should probably show some respect for that even tho it’s totally ridiculous.
I do recommend going here just for the sake of exploring. It’s always fun to travel new places and experience something outside the tourist tracks. The island is very beautiful with a real rural vibe.
It was also really nice to get out of the touristy Phuket and get to breathe a little fresh air. Not much pollution going on out on this island. In Phuket you won’t get 10 seconds alone before someone approach you, try to sell you something or some girl trying to jump on your dick.
That shit won’t happen out here. Nice to get a break!
